Aghh. I haven’t posted for a very long time. My internet has been out for the most of it (thank God for an internet cafe round the corner, and college having MSN. I’ll be back to commenting my regular blogs a.s.a.p
I don’t think I need to recap anything - nothing very exciting has been happening, except for the fact I went up to Yorkshire on Monday and came home last night (four hour drive).
I have a photoshoot on Sunday with a model and make-up artist, which should be lots of fun.
American elections are on. I may be in England, but I personally want Obama to win, although as long as they get a Liberal president, I’m happy.
Who do you want to win?
P.S. Sorry if it takes me a while to moderate your comment - I’m having to be hosted on AwardSpace (baah) and they won’t let me go to my comments…Grr.
It has begun!
Is anyone else doing it this year? If so, what are you doing?
Happy Samhain from me! I’m Wiccan so I’ll be celebrating at home with a ritual in a few hours.
What is everyone doing, or going to do for Hallowe’en then?
EDIT// ONE, TWO. Guess which one is me. Clue; I look truely demented in them both, and probably nothing like myself, esp. in one.
Bleurgh. I had to install WordPress again thanks to it going a-wall for whatever reason. Which is why I haven’t blogged all week. You and I have a bit of catching up to do.
Half-term. A week of less work, more relaxation time. I say less instead of no work because I have a mock science module the day I go back. Grr. So what have I done so far, and what do I plan?
Saturday: I want to the MCM Expo at ExCel house. It was mostly Manga and anime, but also other cult entertainment series and what not. I got dressed up in my frills and lace to be a lolita, convinced by my friend. It was the first time I had worn a dress in over two years *shudder* Anyway, we went and met up with a load of other lolitas she knew from previous expos, and we spent around three hours together, before some guy from a Japanese fashion magazine asked us to do a shoot with him outside, which we did for an hour. Then we took around the stalls and headed home. The Circle Line train was closed so I have to pick up my stuff tomorrow - a week late.
Sunday was uneventful but Monday I went with my sister to The Light Rooms for a photoshoot since she was spotted by Zebra Management outside TopShop. I think I’m doing working there for a few weeks in April.
Tuesday to Friday I was in Wales. Bleugh.
And today was pretty tiring. 2pm I went to the NaNoWriMo launch party, where there were quite a few awesome people, all very nice and some around my age. A couple of them I really got along with an I think I’m organising Write-Ins with them. At 5pm, I left to go to South Kensington to meet a model from ModelMayhem.com to discuss a shoot. I think we’re doing one on either Wednesday or Friday depending on when my camera gets back from the repairs. She was very nice, and told me quite a few disturbing stories of her time as a model.
Then it was back to NaNo, to pick up the camel Rammi and I argued over (who was taking it home - I ended up giving in), and I talked with a woman from Herfordshire about the Write-In, and what we had planned for NaNo.
Anybody else doing NaNoWriMo? How was everyone elses week?
